the big Activizzard merger
"Regardless of whatever you think of the big Activizzard merger and what it might mean for World of Warcraft (I don't believe it'll hurt a thing, but think what you will), it's going to happen. . It's literally official now, as European Union officials have finally approved the merger after several weeks of deliberating on the issue. Approval by the European Commission was necessary because Vivendi (the owner of Blizzard and now the buyer of Activision, if you haven't been keeping up with all this) is a French media company, and therefore subject to EU business laws and antitrust concerns. Officials were mulling over the merger because of fears that Vivendi's ownership of Universal Music Group would give Activision Blizzard an unfair advantage in licensing music for games like Guitar Hero. They finally decided that it's not a threat to the health of the market, and approved the merger. So there it is. It's done. The government can't save you now; Activision Blizzard is your new master. I tremble in terror before the fictional (yet somehow inevitable) Bard class and its l33t Guitar Hero skillz! I'm not a Euro hater. What I am is a big government hater... unfortunately Europe is all about some big government. It disgust me that "My Blood Elf found another level 1 cooking recipe that looks to be lucrative like Crispy Bat Wing and available through normal level 6 progression. I’ll post my results later. It’s a Burning Crusade recipe so I might need to update my itemstats plugin in Wordpress as well, and you’ll need the expansion pack to buy the recipe from the vendor. My Undead Mage has completed the Delivery to Silverpine Forest quest, bringing her to The Sepulcher, where Recipe: Smoked Bear Meat is sold at a vendor in the crypt. Purchase for under 3s each, and I’m listing a couple on the AH for 75s buy out each.
It’s sold well on other realms, but since there’s nothing special about the food it produces, we’ll see how it goes. My mage is a miner, so I’ve got 58 Copper Bars to sell. world of warcraft buy gold I’ve been checking prices and quantities on the Auction House but haven’t felt like I wanted to list my stuff yet. The weekend looms, I can afford to wait. Now that my Mage hit level 10, I went to the Auction House and bought myself some armor with +’s to intelligence and spirit. I paid under 10s for each piece and got a wand as well. gold kaufen wow Tomorrow I’ll post what my equipment is, as I do not have access right now otherwise. Note, when I sell ‘low level greens’, I list them at way more than I’d buy ‘em for. I’d have listed my own equipment for 50s buy out, but when it comes to buying for myself, I’m frugal. wow gold This is part of the habit that lets me accumulate enough cash to spend on big things like mounts and nice equipment later on. " Mashing up WoW data The New York Times has an article up about Microsoft's latest attempt at figuring out mashups-- squeezing the data from one piece of software into another, and World of Warcraft gets an interesting mention. world of warcraft gold Apparently students at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts are working on how to put WoW player data into Facebook accounts. We've covered this type of thing before, but Blizzard has a long way to go in making their data open to any players who want to use it. buying gold world of warcraft Just recently another MMO named Dungeon Runners decided to break open their player data, into a form that almost anyone could use, and we know that Blizzard has the ability to share lots of data online, but they still haven't opened it up yet.
2.4 is giving us a lot of different ways to view our combat data, and almost every day the Armory adds new features, but none of them have yet been aimed at getting the data out of there and doing cool stuff with it elsewhere.

this Mage toon all through his life. .
"I did a lot of profession-switching with this Mage toon all through his life. . Picked up and dropped Leatherworking at least twice, and Engineering, Enchanting, Mining, and Skinning at least once. At 66 I dropped Skinning which was at 375 and picked up Tailoring, knowing from having read a little that crafted Tailoring gear is superior to even Tier 4 gear, and figuring it would be a long time before I’d be playing somewhere to exceed that gearing level. I specialized in Shadoweave Tailoring because I intended to stay a Frost mage, with my goals set on Heroics and not much far beyond. My Hunter already had 350 Fishing, so I used my huge need for Primal Water as motivation to max out my fishing in Nagrand where there are occasional pools of Pure Water that have a high percentage of Mote of Water and often come out in twos or threes. The first piece of my Shadoweave set crafted was the Frozen Shadoweave Boots, and by the time I had fished enough Primal Water, my Hunter was at 375 fishing. While leveling up to 375 in Tailoring, my Mage went on some serious Fishing expeditions, supplied some friends with healing and stamina buff foods, and finished off my Shadoweave set with half and half bought Primal Waters and fished ones. " "Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. Click here to read more About the Bloggers. What do you do for WoW Insider. I'm a standard issues blogger, reporting on just about everything I can get my hands on. I like to concentrate on raid and high-end PvE issues, since that's where I spend most of my time in game. I've also go a few projects in the work for our sister site, Massively.
I think my first article should pop up over there next week (knock on wood)... What's your main right now. My main is a Protection Spec Human Warrior on Eldre'Thalas. wow oro He's been my main since March of 2005. However, I have flirted at times with the possibility of switching to a Priest full time, but that was back in November of 2006. wow mein gold de However that said, I also have many other alts that I give a lot of care and love. One of my favorite things to do is to run the level 70 five mans with friends, all of us running on our fourth or fifth alt. It's kinda fun! More after the break! For the Horde or Glory to the Alliance. wow gold Alliance! Grab that sword and fight the Horde! Seriously, I don't play my horde characters much. I've got a 65 Blood Elf Paladin rotting away that I'll probably never pick up again. I'm not sure why the horde doesn't click with me, it just doesn't. cheap world of warcraft gold Interestingly enough, I play exclusively on the evil side of EQ2... Favorite thing to do in Azeroth. I love tanking. There's something about going head to head, toe to toe, eye to eye with a huge monster and walking away from the fight alive. cheap wow gold I'm a big fantasy an sci-fi fan, and have spent more hours then I care to admit reading about Drizzit Do'Urden standing up against some monster and fighting until his last breath. When tanking some of the bosses, I can let myself go and loose myself in the fantasy of it for a bit – bringing back that epic feeling. "

the important reasons to level up First Aid
"Now that you see one of the important reasons to level up First Aid, how do you get it to a reasonable level, quickly. . Personally, I like farming dungeons for my First Aid materials, but that’s because I have a max-level toon. Two runs of Ragefire Chasm, Two of Dead Mines and then about 6 wings of Scarlet Monestary and I’m at 225 First Aid and ready to do the quest in Hammerfall to up the max to 300. If you’re starting a new toon, however, consider leveling up First Aid more naturally - take the Linen Cloth you find from humanoids from level 6 to the low teens and turn them into bandages, and as you advance your level, the cloth types will advance, too. If you’re around level 40, consider farming RFC (or the Alliance equiv) for your Linen Cloth, or taking out humanoids in that 6-12 level range in zones you used to play in. Wool Cloth can be found on the Razormanes in The Barrens but is also present in Dead Mines and Wailing Caverns in piles. And of course, if the prices are good because there’s a lot listed, buy some from the Auction House! And yes, Wool Cloth is ALWAYS that expensive (more than Linen Cloth or Silk Cloth, at times more than Mageweave Cloth)… but that’s another topic for another day! Greasing the Social Wheels, An Introduction World of Warcraft is a massively MULTIPLAYER online role playing game. There are now some 9 MILLION registered players according to Blizzard, and it’s THE most popular online role playing game going. With that many PEOPLE playing the game, it’s important as a member of the WoW community on your realm to think about how you can do things to “win friends and influence people”, as having friends in-game can be a huge benefit to you in ways you cannot comprehend nor predict when you first begin playing. What is “Social Wheel Greasing”.
At some point in life we all learn that certain mechanical objects work better when they’re well-oiled than when they haven’t been oiled in a while. Not only that, but the guy who brings oil is appreciated by anyone who has experienced the pain of a poorly-oiled machine. This applies to WoW as well: The player who has taken the time to prepare adequately for a group encounter is able to do their part in being part of that well-oiled machine, and isn’t the one to cause the group to “seize up” and experience complications. " Sunwell Plateau is the evolution of what Naxxramas was for the original game. They learned some lessons from Naxx; for instance, Naxx was just too big for many guilds to be able to get through it before The Burning Crusade hit. Northrend will have "a very Nordic, gothic fantasy feel" -- sounds cool! To set the scene, players will be rewarded with "Northrendy" items early in Wrath: "for example, say, a two-handed axe that's made of a dragon jaw, covered with spikes, leather, and other traditional materials. We want players to see the new gear and think, 'Yeah, that guy's been to Northrend.'" I want my dragon jaw axe now please. Er...you can make that with +heal, right. And give priests axe skill. As the player treks through the zones of Northrend, the landscape gets bleaker and players get more spread out, escaping the hyper-population of the starting zones. Blizzard wants to invoke a "growing sense of isolation and dread" as players get closer to Arthas. The two starting zones are at opposite tips of crescent-shaped Northrend. wow gold They wanted to give us an easy way to travel between them, so we get boats. But not just any boats -- turtle boats! Brack talks about "a giant turtle with a deck mounted on top of its shell." Best form of transportation since Captain Placeholder, if you ask me.Such is life in the world of randomness and procs.
Some of these others might sound familiar: cheapest wow gold Delrof of Argent Dawn, "Every time I fight a DPS intensive boss fight, Windfury never goes off." Gazlow of Kalecgos, "Watching Beast Lord shoulders drop 3 times in a row in Steam Vaults on my druid. buying wow gold Then running it 8+ times on my hunter never to see them drop." Abloodymess of Blood Furnace, Ii will somehow get crushed 3 times in a row by Prince Malchezzar even though he has only a 3% chance to crush me" Gamera of Uther, "Dropping Grounding Totem the instant Death Coil hits, guild wars gold so you run around like an idiot watching it sit there useless." Nethaera even weighed in on the subject with "Anytime I need to roll for something I want, I lose. If it's something I don't need and isn't worth all that much, I'll win the roll every time." Sometimes I find it hard to find a group. Whatever my spec for Shaman or Paladin, groups are inevitably looking for something else. serveur wow Have you found that Murphy's Law applies to your WoW experience.
